Learn How to Get Paid While Playing Video Games at Home - Get a Video Game Testing Job

It's a wonderful life when you can make a living doing what you do best and what you enjoy the most. Making a living by playing video games is not just a silly fantasy in this day and age. You can actually get paid a decent amount if you are a video game tester.

Do you know that a many game companies are hiring a lot of people to test out their games. Most people are hired just because they have an Internet connection and a PC (or console). The games company is of course alpha testing (or beta testing) their products for bugs or inconsistencies before they release it. This is where a video game tester like you comes in. You have to know that video game testers should be 18 plus. Game companies will not hire underage kids.

Keep in mind that video game testing is a real job. So conduct yourself in a professional manner. You really have to love gaming to survive in this job. The truth is, you have to look for errors, bugs, and problematic areas in the game. You may actually have to play the game you are testing over and over again in order to generate a good data report.

Big companies like EA or Blizzard will not hire inexperienced game testers. You have to work for smaller companies then work your way up. The average salary for a novice game tester is about $10 to $15 dollars an hour. Some veteran game testers make $70 to $80 dollars an hour. Be careful about scammers who claim that you can earn $200 dollars or more with game testing.

To summarize, you have to work your way up to bigger companies; you will not be hired if you are underage; you will earn a decent amount of money from the job; beware of scams.
